Blizzard's Overwatch reveals hero 29, Ashe

Ashe, the 29th hero for Overwatch, was revealed at BlizzCon 2018.

Alongside a character reveal video the official Overwatch Twitter posted: "Introducing Ashe-leader of the Deadlock Gang and rebellious gunslinger who's not afraid to get her hands dirty".

The next Overwatch character has been revealed.

Blizzard unveiled the next Overwatch hero during Blizzcon today: Elizabeth Caledonia "Calamity" Ashe, better known as Ashe. She can also throw sticks of dynamite that detonate when shot (or after a short delay) and light enemies on fire dealing damage over time. She also carries a coach gun that pushes enemies away from her and propels her backwards. Entitled "Reunion", the cinematic short takes place on the Western-themed Route 66 and finds the cyborg cowboy Jesse McCree (voiced by Critical Role's Matthew Mercer) squaring off with a hearty slice of apple pie, as well as members of villainous Deadlock Gang. Ashe's main weapon rewards precise aim, as does her Dynamite ability. More to come on her, as Blizzard sends the information over.

Every year that BlizzCon rolls back around, Overwatch fans wait with anticipation for the announcement of the game's next playable hero.

"And Ashe is not alone, as she can call on her omnic ally B.O.B., to join the fray when the need arises". Finally, her ultimate, Bob, summons her hulking mechanical sidekick "who charges forward and knocks enemies into the air, then lays down suppressing fire with his arm cannons".
