Chen skipped the ninth season premiere of "The Talk" last week and did not appear in any subsequent episodes after news of Moonves' exit broke. To everyone behind the scenes ... However, Chen is believed to be maintaining her role as host of "Big Brother". Chen issued a statement ahead of September 10's edition of "The Talk", the day after Moonves resigned, saying she was taking time off to spend with her family.

Chen's bombshell comes just nine days after CBS confirmed the network and Moonves were parting ways. "We love you, Julie".

But despite her public support towards him, HollywoodLife reported via an insider at CBS that she is actually 'completely heartbroken by the humiliating allegations against her husband which have preceded his leaving CBS. However, this is an important time in our culture, and just because this hits close to home, it doesn't change the story. All women's stories matter. Moonves has denied their claims, while Chen issued a statement over Twitter.

Moonves' three-paragraph statement said, "untrue allegations from decades ago" are being made against him and are not consistent with who he is. Veteran TV executive Phyllis Golden-Gottlieb told the magazine that Moonves once physically restrained her while forcing her to perform oral sex and, in later incidents, exposed himself to her and became physically violent. Leslie's a good man and loving father, a devoted husband and an inspiring corporate leader. "I fully support my husband".

She publicly supported Moonves after a first round of accusations last month, saying he was a "decent and moral human being".
