Rubio to Heckling Alex Jones: 'I’ll Take Care of You Myself'

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee Wednesday about their companies' alleged anti-conservative bias and foreign governments manipulating social media platforms to influence USA politics.

Sen. Marco Rubio got into a spat with personality Alex Jones on Wednesday.

"Look at this little frat boy, so cool", Jones replied as Rubio walked away. "I'll take care of you myself". "Don't touch me again, man", he said with a death stare.

He then threatened to "take care of you myself" before calling police.

As Rubio left for another hearing he called Jones a "clown", Jones responded by saying the senator was a "frat boy".

"You're not going to silence me", Jones fumed.

"You are a little gangster thug", sneered Jones, his voice rising in intensity. "I don't read your websites", Rubio told him.

While Rubio was addressing the press gaggle, Jones levied several unfounded accusations that he was "de-platformed" by the Democrats before just resorting to name-calling to get the senator's attention.

Alex Jones, the right-wing conspiracy theorist, tried to make himself the sideshow - even the center - of a Senate hearing Wednesday on social media and elections. In recent weeks, Jones has seen his content removed from platforms belonging to Apple, Facebook, Spotify and YouTube for spreading conspiracy theories.

"Infowars.com, you know what it is full well", Jones said.

Jones repeatedly interrupted Rubio while he was attempting to answer questions from reporters during a recess.

During the altercation, Jones patted Rubio on the back, at which point the Florida senator took a more serious tone and security closed in. You're not gonna get arrested.

After giving a few answers about the committee meeting, Rubio's patience appeared to run out and moved on. Twitter banned accounts from him and Infowars for seven days last month because of a tweet that violated the social media company's rules against abusive behaviour. Jones is being sued by three of those parents for defamation, as he has continued to claim it was a "false flag" event.

Rubio later told reporters that coverage of Jones made "crazy people superstars".
