Leaked Photos of the Google Pixel 3 XL?

The Pixel 3 XL can be seen in a new color, which if the past is any indication, could be called "Clearly White" when it arrives in its official form. It might dispatch in three flavors, with spills portraying the unavoidable Google Pixel 3, a screen-refined Google Pixel 3 XL and a less expensive Pixel telephone.

The smartphone is highly likely to be officially introduced in the month of October.

XDA leaker dr.guru posted some pictures of a Pixel 3 XL device, showing off the device in all its glory.

These images are of an early engineering model, so the final product may be slightly different.

You can check out more photos on the XDA-Developers' website here.

Pixel Stand, then, appears to be a phone dock that's Assistant enabled, meaning that your charging phone isn't inert, it's part of your Google Assistant setup.

The next image shows the device with the screen off.

However, the feature that's generated the most attention is the XL prototype's "deep notch" and massive chin.

Coming to the leaked images, up front, it has a notch display housing the sensors. Smartphone makers usually introduce a notch design to bestow a border-free look to their handset, but the search giant appears to be fighting against this trend. As for the specs, past reports say that the Pixel 3 is rumoured to bring a 5.4-inch 18:9 display while the Pixel 3 XL will get a 6.2-inch display with a taller 19:9 aspect ratio. That is if Google sticks to its tradition of launching Pixel devices on the same date. Just like the previous generation, the Google Pixel 3 XL has a glass window on the top half.

It's also believed that Verizon will be the exclusive carrier of the Pixel 3 devices.

Although Google seems to be going for a single camera on the back, there could be the inclusion of a double front-facing system which may add some DSLR-style depth of field to selfies. It also comes with a glass back to support wireless charging that pairs with the upcoming Pixel Stand. It's unclear if that includes the new Pixel phones. Most flagship handsets have moved on to dual and even triple lens systems, so Google's insistence on only one snapper is interesting.
