Singer Remains In Hospital Five Days After Overdose, Reports ‘Us Weekly’

The singer was allegedly found unconscious at home following a party six days ago, and has yet to be released from hospital, Ceders-Sinai in LA.

Pop star Demi Lovato remains in the hospital almost a week after she reportedly suffered a drug overdose.

Now some of those closest to the former Disney star are sending positive vibes her way via heartfelt social media messages wishing for her recovery and calling out those trying to tear her down. "She's been heavily using and her friends have been very anxious that this was going to happen". "Phil and Demi are very close and it's hard for both of them, but Phil wants what's best for her and if she's not in a good place, he can't work with her".

Demi Lovato attends the American Music Awards 2017.

A source previously told The Blast she was 'doing very well'. "Her mother is by her side", the source continued.

Urban, 50, who has been open about his own battle with drugs and alcohol addiction in the past, urged Lovato, 25, to surround herself with "good people".

Following her apparent overdose on July 24, Live Nation released this statement to ET: "Demi's Atlantic City appearance on July 26th has been canceled in light of today's news".

"I care about Demi just like all of you do". She was given Narcan, a medication used to reverse the effects of a narcotic overdose.

Fans have also been looking for a connected party to blame for Lovato's situation, and her friend/backup dancer, Dani Vitale, has been accused the most. There is no need for any negativity towards the ones who care about Demi at this time. Last month, however, she seemed to reveal she'd relapsed in a song titled "Sober".
