Bethesda Actually Announced The Elder Scrolls 6 - To Release After Starfield

Blades was just one of a slew of games detailed at a jam-packed Bethesda E3 conference, including Rage 2, Starfield and Fallout 76.

Release windows for both Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI were not given.

In the game, players will experience an all-new single player story set in the world of The Elder Scrolls.

The game is a "Pure Elder Scrolls game" designed for mobile platforms, but Bethesda's Todd Howard announced that it's going to come to all platforms possible, including PC, consoles, and virtual reality headsets. We did not receive any information related to the game's setting or even a subtitle for that matter.

This means Starfield will definitely release before The Elder Scrolls 6. Either way, what Howard was saying was that the game would be a big jump in terms of gameplay, graphics, and all those other things that make a game work.

We know literally nothing beyond the fact that it's being made, and probably still several years out.

It's inspired by the more combat-orientated The Elder Scrolls: Arena, the very first entry in the series from back in 1994. Note that it requires a Bethesda.net account to sign up. The game is coming out this fall and will be free-to-play.

"We'll do pre-production with a smaller amount of people until a game is really there, and then when we enter production we move the bulk of the studio to that game".

The first details of the game were revealed on stage during the company's press conference before the E3 video games convention, which begins on Tuesday.

"Starfield is playable, Elder Scrolls VI, not in that way yet".

Bethesda will release Fallout 76 on November 14. Unfortunately, it's hard to anticipate the date when we can start playing any of them, so we'll have to wait and see. Chances are we won't hear much about this game for quite some time and I'm ok with that.
