Google working on technology that would help with everyday tasks

It has been confirmed at Google Annual Developer Conference 2018, when an engineer admitted that the change is required due to industry-driven love for notch-design. Ask around, many believe technology companies don't believe in ethics. Now we can report that Google has made the rumors official.

Leave us a comment below if you use split screen mode on Android. The Android P beta will be available for Google's own Pixel devices, and also smartphones from seven other OEMs.

The Android P 9.0 does come with the standard trio of navigation buttons, but now there's a new option within the settings menu, which lets you try the newly redesigned navigation experience.

The event was also used to provide a first look at the next version of the Android mobile operating system.

Android P is Google's biggest and most ambitious update to Android yet.

A preview of the new tool will be released on Google Pixelbook soon. Whenever it recognizes a photo of one of your Google contacts, it can suggest sharing the photo with that person. Samsung is getting snubbed on some of these new features, at least for now. Services such as food delivery and transportation will also be easier with the addition of third-party Actions available in the near future. And while there's no proof these techniques have advanced to the outside world, there's also no proof they haven't. Google introduced this feature as the Google Duplex.

Among the new features were notifications to YouTube urging users to take a break after watching a series of videos. Another AI-based feature, "adaptive brightness", learns how the user likes the screen brightness. This will help them to cut back on compulsively staring at their phone at any moment of downtime. Apart from that, there is the original one too with which users are probably familiar with. Also, a new voice variety John Legend is coming for the Assistant later this year.

Google will be testing the digital assistant improvement in the months ahead.

Mr Pichai played a recording of the Google Assistant independently calling a hair salon and a restaurant to make bookings - interacting with staff who evidently didn't realise they were dealing with artificial intelligence software, rather than a real customer. Amazon says they have taken steps (but haven't told anyone what steps) to make sure Alexa is secure. Now its time that it faces some competition from the similar devices running Google's software.

LG OLED TVs and LG SUPER UHD TVs with ThinQ AI and the Google Assistant will be available in the United States starting in May with key markets in Europe and Asia to follow.

Among other news from Google I/O 2018, Google is making it possible to code on Chromebooks. Numerous new features center on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to help save time. Apart from using it for Android Auto functions, it can be used to control vehicle features like AC and music system also.

Social media fuels that debate from time to time, spreading fake news, extremism and more.

Google's move aims to integrate its virtual helper into all devices and apps. This is of course when the feature actually rolls out to users.
