Post the release salman will head to mumbai from Jodhpur. A few fans even chased the actor's cavalcade for some distance. In 2014, the Mumbai High Court acquitted him in a drunken-driving, hit-and-run case, after he was accused of running over five men sleeping on a sidewalk in 2002, killing one of them.

An Indian court on Friday made a decision to reserve its order on Bollywood actor Salman Khan's bail plea until Saturday.

The actor who was convicted on Thursday, April 5, 2018, had to spend two nights in Jodhpur Central Jail after he was found guilty by the court.

Salman has been asked to appear before the court on May 7 for the next hearing. But he can't leave the country without the court's permission. His co-stars from the film Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre who were allegedly also present at the time of the poaching, were acquitted by the court. But Salman's lawyers insisted that the post-mortem report was based on the bones of the animal and the skin, which is very crucial in such tests, was not examined.

After Joshi heard arguments from both sides, he deferred the decision further till 3pm, when he finally allowed the plea. The court had called for the records of the case from the trial court.

It was claimed that in September 1998, Khan hunted down the animals in the Kankani village of Rajasthan; in October 1998 Khan was arrested in the connection with the poaching of endangered animals, and subsequently granted bail.

In a huge relief to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, the Jodhpur Court on Wednesday acquitted him in a 19-year-old Arms Act Case.

Coming to his professional commitments, Salman Khan will wrap up the shoot of Remo D'Souza's Race 3 before starting with Arbaaz Khan's Dabangg 3 and Alvira Agnihotri's Bharat. The actor had also been accused of killing two "chinkaras".
