Nokia 6 Launched in India with 4GB RAM, Specifications, Price here

After HMD Global launched the Nokia 6 last year in September, and succeeded it with a 2018 version, the company has now refreshed last year's Nokia 6 with a new 4GB RAM variant.

Ajey Mehta, vice president at HMD Global India was quoted as saying in the release, "The Nokia 6 has emerged as the one of our most successful phones receiving plaudits for its design, durability and functionality from its countless fans".

In terms of specifications, the new Nokia 6 variant is nearly the same as that of the previous model (except the RAM and storage). The smartphone now comes in two memory variants; one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and another with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

Apart from the 4GB RAM, everything else stays the same with this upgraded handset. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset, along with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

As an introductory launch offer, Flipakart will be offering extra Rs 2,000 off on exchange of an older device for the new Nokia 6.

The Nokia 6 (4GB) will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting February 20.

Recollecting some key specifications, the Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch full HD with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 2.5d curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Upfront is an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture. The 4G LTE -supporting device comes with Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, USB OTG and Wi-Fi as connectivity options and packs a 3000mAh battery.

At the rear side, the phone has a 16MP primary camera, and an 8MP selfie shooter is present on the front.

The bump in RAM and storage commands a slight premium compared to the regular Nokia 6.

Nokia 6 features a precision-milled aluminum unibody shell measuring 154x75.8x7.85mm and weighing 168 grams. While it comes with the Dolby Atmos, the smartphone creates powerful moving audio that seems to flow all around users.
