Range Rover SV Coupe: Land Rover tease a two-door Range Rover

Ahead of the Geneva exposition here's a sneak peek at it - or at least of what Land Rover calls its "supremely refined" interior, boasting "peerless refinement and uncompromised sophistication".

Being previewed ahead of its full reveal at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show, the auto promises to epitomize both the origins of Land Rover seven decades ago, and its positioning as a tech-savvy brand today.

"We have proved with Range Rover that there are opportunities to offer derivatives of these vehicles, and to offer them in a way to bring something new to the market".

The new, limited edition two-door Range Rover will make its world debut in Geneva.

As not much is revealed about this two-door Range Rover, the price, as per AutoExpress, is expected to command a hefty premium over the current range, topping Range Rover SV Autobiography Long Wheelbase, with a tag pushing £250,000 envelope.

Land Rover will introduce the Range Rover SV Coupe at the Geneva Motor Show in March, a 2-door take on its classic full-size luxury SUV created to honor the original Range Rover, which was also introduced with two doors back in 1970.

Land Rover is in its 70th anniversary this year and this vehicle is being conjured up as part of the celebrations.

The top-down view of the interior that Land Rover released today shows a typically sumptuous Range Rover interior with a unique split color scheme for front and rear passengers and more quilted leather and handsome wood than you can shake a stick at.

It's likely that the auto will be powered by the top-of-the-range engine offered in a Range Rover - the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 that produces up to 557bhp in the SVAutobiography model. The last of the two-door Range Rovers rolled off the assembly line in Solihull, England in 1994 and its like was never seen again.
