Paul Gosar Demands Dreamers at State of the Union Be Deported

While launching his presidential campaign, Trump accused immigrants from Mexico of being rapists and murderers.

With Democrats planning to bring "Dreamers" as special guests to President Donald Trump's first State of the Union, Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Arizona) is encouraging US Capitol Police to arrest any illegal immigrants present. He was the guest of his home-state senator, Jeff Merkley, D-Ore. Therefore, the 24 DREAMers who are in attendance at Trump's State of the Union speech likely do not have to worry about getting arrested.

He also requested that any attendees found using fraudulent Social Security numbers and identification be arrested.

"In separate posts, Gosar also wrote, citing Lott's report, that "DACA-aged illegals" accounted for "15 percent of all Arizona manslaughters", "14 percent of all sexual assaults each year" and "nearly 14 percent of all first-degree murders in Arizona".

Democrats, including those from MA, are strategically populating their guest lists with faces of the immigration debate that is roiling Congress and vexing President Trump. "Any illegal aliens attempting to go through security, under any pretext of invitation or otherwise, should be arrested and deported", Gosar tweeted. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., who tweeted back: "This is why we can't have nice things..."

Gosar's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The powers that be on Capitol Hill did not appear to take Gosar as seriously as he took himself.

A spokeswoman for Ryan says the speaker "clearly does not agree" with Gosar.

It remains to be seen whether the Capitol police will be taking Gosar's advice.

But, this being Washington, Democrats did not miss an opportunity to pounce.

How many Republican members of the House and Senate will condemn this attempt to punish Dreamers who were brought to this country as kids?
