Rex Tillerson responds to 'castration' comment on CNN, 'I'm fully intact'

Republican Sen. Bob Corker of Tennessee said Friday that his biggest worry is that President Donald Trump is rendering Secretary of State Rex Tillerson ineffective at his job.

Tillerson said he was "not dignifying the question with an answer", reprising his response from earlier this month, the morning the story broke, when he used an extraordinary televised statement to insist he had nothing but respect for Trump.

"You can not publicly castrate your own secretary of state without giving yourself that binary choice", Corker told the Washington Post on Friday.

Tension between the two countries has grown exponentially due to the nuclear tests that North Korea has carried out in recent months, and which have been interpreted as a clear threat not only to the USA but also to its main allies in the area, South Korea and Japan.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Sunday ducked, danced and sidestepped the question of whether he truly called President Donald Trump a "moron", dismissing the brouhaha as the "petty stuff" of Washington.

"I think on North Korea we have completely unified the worldwide community", Tillerson said. Rubio asks Army to kick out West Point grad MORE took to Washington's Sunday talk show circuit to demonstrate his comfort in his role in the Trump administration despite President Trump's criticism and reports he might exit the State Department in the near future.

"Well, at the end of the day, I think Secretary Tillerson gave a good overview of the relationship", Graham told CBS.

"I'm not playing", Tillerson said.

"Sometimes he changes his mind", Tillerson said. "He himself is an unconventional president". Yet when Trump publicly says the man in charge of representing his administration overseas "is wasting his time" on diplomacy everyone starts to doubt him.

"I will work as hard as I can to implement his decisions successfully".

"I checked", he told Tapper.

Trump - who swore on the campaign trail that he had "no problem" with the size of his private parts - has appeared to insistently emasculate Tillerson, a former ExxonMobil CEO, during their first year working in government.

"The president speaks for himself", Tillerson said at the time.
